Whether you are going to buy or rent one, if it is your first time to invest in a condo, you must keep some considerable things in mind before making a final move.
Here is a list of things you must reflect on before you sign the contract.
You have made up your mind that you need to invest in a Philippines’ property but you are still not sure which location of Philippines can give you the best value of your investment. Location is the prime factor when planning to invest in any kind of property and looking for a condo for sale is no exception to it. So, before you finalize your decision, make sure that the surrounding areas of the buildings are safe. Look around the condo building itself. Ask the nearest store about the risk of natural calamity like heavy rain and floods. After all, you will never want to live where you would be prone to get mugged or your condo unit may sink during the rainstorm season.
Make sure that the condo unit has the good ventilation system. Having good ventilation does not mean to have just good number of windows. It means having the standard air circulation in all areas of the condo, particularly in the case if you are a smoker. Poor ventilation can lead to a variety of health conditions.
3. Stairs and Elevators:
While it is a common seen in every condo, still you need to be sure that your chosen building has good conditioned elevators. Of course, you will never want to carry your grocery all the way to the 3rd, 4th, 5th or the higher floor! For emergency evacuations, there should also be stairs.
4. Water Supply:
Ensuring the efficient and enough water supply is a prime point. Some people take it for granted but it should not be in this way. It is not a common thing to not have water during a power outage.
While investing in a condo unit, you may assume yourself that it would have a free parking space and there is nothing to ask for it. But it does not happen always with all condos in Philippines. Not all condo units include a free parking space. Some may charge you an extra monthly fee for parking space which may put an extra burden to your pocket or the monthly expenses. Make sure that the condo you are thinking to invest in has a free parking space if you own a vehicle.
Don’t just move in, rent or buy a condo just because you see a gym, a playground and a swimming pool, these are just the lucrative perks designed to hook you in. check out the other essential features before you finalize your decision.
